Please note that internet access cannot be provided at the conference this year.  You will need to rely on your own data plan and the coverage provided by your carrier (e.g. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.) for any internet access during the conference.  For most people, this means that your smart phone may be able to access the internet but your computer would not.  For tablets, it would depend whether you are paying for a data plan for the device.

Here Comes ExceleRate (Illinois QRIS System): Proactive Response from Infant-Toddler Montessori Educators

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

ExceleRate Illinois is a statewide quality rating and improvement system designed to make continuous quality improvement an everyday priority among early learning providers. The program establishes standards for helping infants, toddlers and preschool age children develop intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. It provides a framework for early learning professionals to identify opportunities for improvement, increase their skills and take steps to make positive changes.” This definition is from the ExceleRate website. In this session we will review how Montessori schools fit within this new state framework – whether your school is DCFS licensed, AMS Accredited, both or somewhere in between, your school may be making strides to meet one of the circles of quality. What does this mean for you? We’ll overview the circles of quality and discuss some of the criteria and components of moving from one circle to the next.
